The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 26/01/2016 reached 39 deaths including eight children, and seven women.
In Idlib, 13 civilians were killed in Russian airstrikes on Areeha where nine were killed, and four in the town of Jarjanaz.
Rural Damascus witnessed the killings of 12 civilians; four in clashes with government forces, four in cluster bombing on Douma, three children as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege, and one shot by a sniper in al-Ma’damiya.
Furthermore, five died in Homs; three in mortar shelling on the town of al-Ghantu, one from wounds sustained in shelling on tadmur, and another in clashes with government forces. In addition, four were killed in Aleppo in shelling on the towns of Hayaan and Ma’ar Sata al-Khan.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Daraa, two in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling. The killings of two civilians were also documented in Deir Azzour, one in ISIS mortar shelling on al-Qusur neighbourhood, and the other in Russian airstrikes.
