The death toll in Syria on Monday 18/01/2016 reached 26 deaths including two children, three women, and two killed under torture.
In Aleppo, six civilians were killed; two in shelling on al-Baab and Manbaj (rural Aleppo), two in mortar shelling on al-Ramusa neighbourhood, and two in clashes with government forces.
Hama witnessed the killings of five civilians, four in clashes with government forces, and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, three died in Daraa; one shot by a regime sniper, one in clashes, and one in shelling on the town of Ibta’.
In Ar-Raqqah, four civilians perished in shelling, one in the city of al-Tabqa, and three in Manbaj (rural Aleppo). In addition, three died in Idlib, two in the targeting of their vehicle with a bomb explosion (southern Ma’rrat al-No’maan), and one in clashes with government forces.
The killings of four civilians were documented in clashes with government forces, three in Al-Latakia, and one in rural Damascus. The killing of a civilian from the city of Banees (Tartus) was also documented under torture.
