The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 29/12/2015 reached 53 deaths including six children.
In Aleppo, ten civilians were killed in Russian airstrikes on the city of Tal Raf’at (rural Aleppo).
Homs witnessed the killings of 17 civilians, in two car bomb explosions from unknown sources, in the government-controlled neighbourhood of al-Zahra, on 28/12/2015.
Furthermore, 11 civilians died in Daraa, nine in clashes with government forces, and two in shelling.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, five civilians were killed; one in clashes, another in shelling, one at the hands of unknown assailants, one shot by a sniper while working on his land, and one due to food shortages due to the siege imposed on the town of Baqeen.
In addition, six died in shelling in Ar-Raqqah, three in international alliance shelling, and three in a landmine explosion carried out by ISIS.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Hama, one in clashes with government forces, and the other in an explosion of one of the remnants of the bombing. The killing of a civilian was documented in international alliance shelling in Al-Hassaka, and another in clashes with government forces in Idlib.
