The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 02/12/2015 reached 64 deaths including, five children, seven women, and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 11 civilians were killed; five in shelling on Douma and Zabdeen, two in shelling by the Lebanese army on Jarud Arsal, two in mortar shelling on Damascus, one shot by ISIS, another as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege, and one under torture in a government prison.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 17 civilians; ten in clashes with ISIS, four in shelling on Ard and Haritan, two in clashes with government forces, and one executed at the hands of ISIS.
In Homs, 12 civilians perished, seven in Russian airstrikes (the majority in the town of al-Qaryatain), and five in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, seven died in Al-Latakia, in Russian airstrikes on the village of al-Ghaneema in Jabal al-Akrad. An additional seven civilians died in Hama, in clashes with government forces. A further three civilians died in Idlib, two in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, two in shelling – one of them during his punishment carried out by ISIS by drilling the walls of Deir Azzour airport, and one in clashes with government forces. The killing of a civilian was documented in clashes with ISIS, and one in a mine explosion – remnants of the regime – in Al-Hassaka. In addition, a civilian was killed under torture in a government prison.
