Russian war planes targeted a popular market in the city of Areeha in western rural Idlib, killing approximately 40 people in the first count.
Ten civilians were also injured in the city of Kafr Tkhareem in rural Idlib, after it was subjected to air strikes by Russian war planes.
The city of Jisr al-Shughoor was also subjected to air strikes, leaving several civilians injured.
Rural Idlib is being subjected to constant and continuous air strikes since a Russian plane was brought down by Turkey.
