The death toll in Syria on Saturday 21/11/2015 reached 74 deaths including 21 children, 17 women and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 26 civilians; 19 in shelling on the towns of al-Qanatir, al-Mahdum and Hazwan (in the suburbs), and al-Kalasa, al-Hamwaniya and al-Qaseela neighbourhoods (in the city), one in clashes with government forces, and another executed at the hands of ISIS.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 14 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on Dariya, Khan al-Sheikh and Douma, two as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege, one in clashes with government forces, and two under torture in a government prison.
An additional 14 civilians were killed in Daraa, as a result of shelling, ten in shelling on al-Sad neighbourhood in the city – the majority were women and children.
Furthermore, 11 died in Idlib, six in shelling on Idlib on 20/11/2015, and five in shelling on the town of Khan al-Sabl. A further three civilians perished in shelling in Hama.
The killings of five civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, four executed at the hands of ISIS, and one died in the siege imposed by ISIS on al-Jurra neighbourhood – under government control.
The killing of a civilian was also documented in clashes in Al-Latakia.
