The death toll in Syria on Saturday 07/11/2015 reached 64 deaths including nine children, 13 women, one killed under torture, and four as a result of the siege.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 44 civilians were killed; 26 in shelling on Douma, 11 in shelling on the neighbourhoods of Saqba, Humuriya, Harsta al-Qantara and Jobar, five in clashes with government forces, one in mortar shelling on the outskirts of al-Asad, and one as a result of the siege in Yarmouk camp (southern Damascus).
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 12 civilians, nine in shelling – the majority in the city of al-Baab (rural Aleppo), and three in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, four civilians died in Deir Azzour, as a result of lack of food and medicine, due to the siege imposed by ISIS, in the neighbourhoods of al-Jurra and al-Qusur.
In addition, two civilians perished in a landmine explosion remnant of the regime in Hama. A civilian was also killed in Al-Latakia in clashes with government forces, and another in Daraa, under torture in a government prison.
