The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) has documented the killing of (1814) people during October 2015 in various Syrian provinces. The Russian warplanes raided and bombed, targeting hospitals, popular markets and shelters that resulted in a high number of victims and causalities. Victims also fell as a result of clashes between the armed opposition forces and the Syrian regime and the inhalation of poisonous gases, as well as the attacks carried out by the Kurdish militias and ISIS, in addition to the siege imposed on the eastern Ghouta by the Syrian regime.
SHRC also documented the deaths of (245) children during October, in addition to (147) women. It is worthy to note that (65) individuals died under torture in the Syrian regime’s prisons and security branches.
SHRC has also documented the killing of (363) Syrians by the Russian warplanes raids, and (7) by the air bombing of the international alliance. (75) People died at the hands of ISIS, most of them executed on various charges, and (6) by the Kurdish militia. In addition to (23) people died after being hit by mortar shells fired by opposition forces on neighborhoods under the regime’s control, and (9) due to lack of medicine and food caused by the siege of the eastern Ghouta.
The highest number of victims was (541) in the province of Aleppo, followed by (412) victims in the capital Damascus and its suburbs and then (251) victims in the province of Homs.The number of victims in Idleb province reached (171) people, whilst (147) people were killed in Daraa province, and (129) people killed in the province of Hama. It was documented that (108) people were killed in Deir al-Zour province, and (33) people in the province of Latakia . As it has been documented (13) people in Raqqa province, and (8) in the province of Hasaka, in addition to (1) in the province of Kenitra.
