Warplanes targeted the popular market in the village of Ain Tarma in rural Damascus today, killing 15 people and leaving 40 others injured, most of whom were transported to the medical point in the district of Jobar.
The targeting of popular markets is part of a systematic policy of targeting markets in non-regime controlled cities, with approximately 70 markets targeted so far in 2015 alone.
The identified victims of Ain Tarma include:
