The death toll in Syria on Monday 28/09/2015 reached 69 deaths including nine children, 15 women and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 18 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on al-Nashabiya, Douma and Kafr Batna, five in clashes with government forces two shot by a regime sniper, one in mortar shelling on Baab Tuma and one due to the siege.
A staggering 41 civilians were killed in Deir Azzour, one under torture in a government prison and 40 in heavy air raids on the city of al-Mayadeen. Among the victims were 15 women, six children and 10 unidentifiable due to the severe burns.
In Daraa, five civilians perished; two in clashes with government forces, two in shelling and one publicly executed by the people’s committee in Al-Suwaida.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Aleppo; one in an explosion carried out by ISIS a month ago, and the other in clashes with government forces.
The killings of an additional two civilians were also documented in Homs, one in shelling, and the other shot while leaving from the Fajr prayer by unknown assailants. In addition, a civilian died in clashes with government forces in Hama.
