The death toll in Syria on Sunday 27/09/2015 reached 48 deaths including 12 children and one killed under torture.
In Idlib, 14 civilians were killed; one in clashes with government forces, 13 in shelling on al-Sa’n al-Aswad, al-Qaryatain, and additional victims documented in a massacre at al-Waer neighbourhood on Saturday 26/09/2015.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 11 civilians; nine in shelling (the majority in the town of Haysh), one in a mine explosion remnant of the regime, and one in clashes with government forces.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, nine civilians were killed, four in clashes with government forces and five in shelling.
Furthermore, four civilians perished in Hama; two in shelling, one in clashes with government forces, and one shot by government forces at al-Tadamun neighbourhood (Damascus) – where he lives.
In addition, three died in Daraa; one in clashes with government forces, another in shelling, and one shot by factions of the opposition in dispute in the suburbs.
A further two civilians died in Ar-Raqqah, one under torture at the hands of Kurdish militia and the other executed at the hands of ISIS.
The killings of two civilians were documented in shelling in Deir Azzour and two in Aleppo, one shot by Kurdish militia on al-Kastilo road, and the other in shelling on al-Ma’sarania neighbourhood. The killing of a journalist was documented in Al-Quneitra, while covering clashes of one of the battles.
