The death toll in Syria on Monday 21/09/2015 reached 91 deaths including 19 children, 12 women and seven killed under torture.
In Aleppo, 32 civilians were killed; 22 in shelling on the vegetable market in al-Shi’ar neighbourhood (Aleppo), nine in mortar shelling on the neighbourhoods of al-Maydan and al-Jabiriya (under government control) and one in clashes with government forces at Kafr Hamra front.
Deir Azzour witnessed the killings of 18 civilians, 17 in shelling on the town of Maraat and the field hospital in Al-Khareeta (among the victims were seven children and two women), and a child shot by a regime sniper while collecting firewood.
Furthermore, 11 civilians perished in Damascus; 5 in shelling on Arbeen and Douma, five in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
In Homs, ten civilians died, nine in shelling on Tadmur, Talbisa, al-Ghantou (in the suburbs) and al-Waer neighbourhood (in Homs), and one in clashes with government forces.
A further seven died in Ar-Raqqah; six in airstrikes on the city and one in clashes with government forces. In addition, a faction of the opposition shot a young girl while they were chasing a fugitive in Idlib.
The killings of six civilians were documented in Hama, five under torture in a government prison and one in clashes with government forces.
The killings of three of civilians were also documented in Daraa; one by a faction of ISIS, another from wounds sustained in previous shelling and one under torture in a government prison. Additionally, three children died in shelling on Jabal al-Akrad in Al-Latakia.
