The death toll in Syria on Sunday 20/09/2015 reached 71 deaths including 18 children, nine women and two killed under torture.
A staggering 32 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 18 in mortar shelling on al-Midan and al-Neel (both under government control), eight in shelling on al-Mashad and al-Muwasalat, four at the hands of ISIS – among them a child fell from the highest building during a chase for violating the terms of dress, one from al-Safeera in international alliance shelling on Ar-Raqqah and another under torture in a government prison.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 20 civilians were killed; 12 in shelling on Arbeen, Humuriya, Zabdeen and Yarmouk camp, six in clashes with government forces, one shot by a regime sniper and another killed under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, 13 civilians perished in Idlib, 11 in clashes with government forces and two in shelling.
Daraa witnessed the killings of four civilians, three in shelling and one from wounds sustained in clashes with government forces.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Homs by shrapnel and a woman was executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of communicating with her brother in al-Qalmun (Deir Azzour).
