The death toll in Syria on Saturday 19/09/2015 reached 55 deaths including seven children, five women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 16 civilians were killed; nine in shelling, six in clashes with government forces and one died from starvation due to the siege imposed on the city of Madaya.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 17 civilians, nine in clashes with government forces and eight in shelling on the city of Areeha and the town of Hazanu.
Furthermore, nine were killed in Homs, five in shelling on Tadmur and al-Hawla and four in clashes with government forces.
In addition, six civilians from Deir Azzour died in shelling on Tadmur in Homs where they live. A further three civilians perished in Homs, one assassinated at the hands of unknown assailants and two under torture in government prisons.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Aleppo; one in shelling, another in clashes with government forces and one was found killed at the hands of unknown assailants. The killing of an additional civilian was documented in Hama in shelling.
