The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 01/09/2015 reached 46 deaths including eight children, three women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 23 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on Arbeen, Douma and Saqba, five in clashes with government forces, three as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege, four in mortar shelling on the neighbourhoods of Damascus, one at the hands of ISIS and another under torture in government prisons.
Idlib witnessed the killings of nine civilians in bombing of explosive barrels and missiles on Areeha, Balyun and al-Baara. Furthermore, five died in Hama, four in shelling and one in clashes with government forces.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Daraa, three in shelling and one under torture in a government prison. In addition, the killings of four civilians were also documented in Homs in shelling and one in Al-Hassaka in a mine explosion – remnants of the ISIS.
