The death toll in Syria on Sunday 30/08/2015 reached 66 deaths including 16 children, six women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 23 civilians were killed; 19 in shelling on Douma, Saqba, Arbeen and Humuriya (among them were ten children and three women), two in clashes with government forces, one in a cluster bomb explosion and another as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 17 civilians, ten in shelling on the town of Kafr Nabl, Ma’rata and Awram al-Juz, and seven in clashes with government forces.
In Aleppo, 15 civilians perished, nine in clashes with ISIS (northern rural Aleppo), and six in a car bomb explosion in the city of Tal Raf’at. Among the victims were three children.
Furthermore, five died in Hama, four in shelling and one under torture in branch 215. In addition, four were killed in Daraa; two in shelling, one in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, executed at the hands of ISIS, under charges of working with the regime.
