The death toll in Syria on Friday 21/08/2015 reached 55 deaths including eight children, four women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 27 civilians were killed; 12 in clashes with government forces, 11 in shelling on the towns and cities of eastern Ghouta, three shot by a regime sniper and one under torture in a government prison.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 18 civilians; 15 in bombing of explosive barrels on the city of al-Baab, two in mortar shelling on a neighbourhood under government control and one in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, five refugees from Homs perished in shelling on the city of Idlib (among them were four children).
In Daraa, two civilians were killed, one in shelling and the other under torture in a government prison. In addition, a civilian died in Idlib in shelling, another in Hama in clashes with government forces and one executed at the hands of ISIS in Deir Azzour.
