The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 18/08/2015 reached 35 deaths including five children, two women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 14 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on Douma and Arbeen in eastern Ghouta, four in clashes with government forces and one under torture.
Idlib witnessed the killings of six civilians, five in shelling – the majority in Idlib and one in clashes with government forces.
In Hama, seven civilians perished; four in shelling, two in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, five were killed in in Aleppo at the hands of ISIS in the village of Dahla (northern rural Aleppo). In addition, three died in ISIS shelling on neighbourhoods under government control in Deir Azzour.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Homs; one executed at the hands of ISIS, one in shelling and another shot by a regime sniper.
