The death toll in Syria on Friday 14/08/2015 reached 50 deaths including five children, six women and one killed under torture.
In Daraa, 16 civilians were killed; 11 in clashes with government forces, four in shelling and one under torture in government prisons.
Homs witnessed the killings of 12 civilians, including nine killed in an ambush in rural Hama. The ambush was carried out on refugees from northern rural Homs, who were heading towards Idlib on Wednesday 12/08/2015. Two were also killed in bombing of explosive barrels in al-Ghanthar (eastern rural Homs) and one died in international alliance shelling on Ar-Raqqah.
In Aleppo, 11 civilians perished; six in clashes with ISIS, four died after their car was targeted at the village of Kadar and one died in a landmine explosion in rural Aleppo.
Furthermore, five civilians from one family died in Deir Azzour. The father was trying to dismantle a bomb, found by the children in the neighbourhood a few days ago, which later exploded inside their house. Additionally, three died in Ar-Raqqah, shot by unknown assailants in western Tal Abyad (among them were to women).
The killings of two civilians were documented in the capital Damascus and its suburbs, one in clashes with government forces and the other as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
The killing of a civilian was documented in central Hama prison in Hama, in a deadlock carried out by the prisoners, which led to regime forces throwing tear gas bombs.
