The death toll in Syria on Monday 10/08/2015 reached 15 children, six women and one killed under torture.
In Aleppo, 25 civilians were killed; 14 in mortar shelling on areas under government control, six in a suicide attack carried out by ISIS in the city of Mari’, three in clashes with ISIS and two in clashes with government forces.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 18 civilians, eight in shelling on the villages of Idlib and ten in clashes against government forces on al-Fu’a front.
In Deir Azzour ten civilians perished; five in shelling – the majority in the targeting of the modern Medical Hospital in the city of al-Mayadeen, two executed at the hands of ISIS, one in clashes with government forces, another in international alliance shelling and one under torture in government prisons.
Furthermore, nine civilians died in the capital Damascus and its suburbs; four in clashes with government forces, four in shelling on the towns of Harasta al-Qantara and Ma’damiyat al-Sham and one as a result of the lack of food due to the siege.
Daraa witnessed the killings of five civilians; three in shelling on the town of al-Mazireeb, one shot by a stray bullet and another publicly executed at the hands of government forces.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Hama, two in clashes with government forces and one in shelling. The killings of two civilians were also documented in Homs, one in clashes with government forces and the other in shelling.
In addition, the killing of a civilian was documented in Al-Latakia, in clashes with government forces. A child also died in Ar-Raqqah, from a grenade bomb explosion, found at one the neighbourhoods in the city of Tal abyad.
