War Planes targeted the “Martyr Mohammed Badh” hospital in Ma’arat Masreen (rural Idlib), killing two children and injuring 19 others, among them four hospital staff. The air strike has led to a temporary stop to the services of the hospital.
Members of the civil defence team aided 19 injured civilians, among them seven children, five women, and seven men. The dead body of a child was also recovered. The team then removed the remains left by the bombing and re-opened the streets.
Those injured from among the hospital staff include:
– Anaesthesia technician Ahmed Saeed
– Nurse Ahmed Nadaf
This air strike comes within a week in which eight hospitals and medical centres in Idlib and Deir Azzour have been targeted.
