The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 05/08/2015 reached 31 deaths including six children and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 14 civilians were killed; eight in clashes with government forces, three in shelling, one shot by a regime sniper, one killed under torture and another as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of four civilians; an eight-month-old baby shot by Turkish forces while his family was trying to enter Turkish territory, another child died from cholera after drinking water from wells, due to the blockage of water supply to Aleppo, one as a result of mortar shelling on lands under government control and another was found killed by unknown assailants.
Furthermore, seven were killed in Idlib in clashes with government forces. In addition, two died in Hama, one in shelling and the other in clashes with government forces.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour in clashes with government forces and one in shelling in Homs. The execution of a civilian was also documented at the hands of ISIS under charges of cooperating with the international alliance in Al-Hassaka.
