The death toll in Syria on Sunday 02/08/2015 reached 33 deaths, among them a woman.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, ten civilians were killed; six in clashes with government forces, two shot by regime snipers, one in shelling and a civilians body was found in the parks.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of nine civilians; three in clashes with government forces, three in mortar shelling on areas under government control, two in shelling and one in a mine explosion while attempting to leave the city of Sareen.
Furthermore, six civilians perished in Idlib, four in clashes with government forces and two in shelling on the town of al-Tamani’a.
In Hama, three civilians died, two in shelling and one in clashes with government forces. In addition, two were killed in Daraa, one in clashes with government forces and the other shot by a regime sniper.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Homs in tank shelling, another in Al-Hassaka, shot by the Kurdish civil defence and one from Deir Azzour, in clashes with government forces in Sahl al-Ghaab (rural Idlib).
