The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 28/07/2015 reached 51 deaths including 12 women and one killed under torture.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 19 civilians; 11 in bombing of explosive barrels – the majority in the city of Kansfara (rural Idlib), five in clashes with government forces, two in a bomb explosion at a warehouse and one shot by a regime sniper.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, nine civilians were killed; five in clashes with government forces, one in shelling, another shot by a regime sniper, one shot by a stray bullet in the capital and one in mortar shelling on the capital.
An additional nine civilians were killed in Hama, in shelling – the majority in shelling on the town of Qal’a al-Madiq in the suburbs. Furthermore, eight civilians perished in Daraa; three in indiscriminate shelling on al-Sahari neighbourhood in the city, two in bombing of explosive barrels, one in a cluster bomb explosion, another in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Aleppo in clashes with ISIS. The deaths of a further two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, one in clashes with ISIS and a woman stoned to death by the organization.
