The death toll in Syria on Thursday 23/07/2015 reached 74 deaths including 19 children, 15 women and four killed under torture.
In Daraa, 30 civilians were killed; 15 in shelling targeting western al-Ghariya, four in shelling on Daraa camp, one died from wounds sustained in shelling on the town of Naseeb a couple of days ago, nine in clashes with government forces and a journalist while covering clashes.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 12 civilians; ten in shelling on rural Idlib – the majority in the city of al-Baara, one in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
An additional 12 civilians were killed in Aleppo; six in shelling, four in international alliance shelling on the town of Sareen, one in clashes with government forces and another executed at the hands of ISIS.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, ten civilians were killed; five as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta, two shot by a regime sniper, two civilians reasons of their deaths have not yet been reached, and one in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, eight were killed in Hama, among them five women were killed in shelling on the village of Qasareen and Radan affiliated to al-Hamra district.
The killing of a civilian was documented in shelling in Homs, and another in Ar-Raqqah at the hands of the Kurdish YPG.
