The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 14/07/2015 reached 40 deaths including a child and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, eight civilians were killed, seven in clashes with government forces and one under torture in a government prison.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 17 civilians in bombing of explosive barrels, where the deaths of an additional seven were documented in the village of al-Fatira on Monday 13/07/2015. A further eight civilians died in a suicide attack carried out by a member of ISIS at opposition headquarters and two in navy mine shelling on the town of al-Habit.
In Aleppo, 11 civilians perished; five in a car ammunition explosion in the city of Manbaj – belonging to ISIS, four in shelling on the town of Qabaseen, one in the city of Mari’ in a mine explosion (remnants of ISIS), and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, three civilians were killed in clashes with government forces, two in Homs and one in Hama. A civilian was also killed in Al-Hassaka, shot by Kurdish militia.
