Four helicopters targeted the city of al-Baab in eastern rural Aleppo, causing a massacre which killed 35 civilians and left tens injured.
The helicopters released eight barrel bombs in different locations across the city. The bombs were all dropped within less than an hour, on Sunday morning.
The bombs targeted the fuel market in the city, causing large fires to erupt and spread, and killing 15 people in the area. The bombs also targeted the Omar Mosque, the al-Jabal Hospital, and the Hikma building.
This massacre is the third to have taken place within two days: the city witnessed a bloody massacre on Saturday when the Haal market was targeted and in which 35 were killed, and yesterday when the villages of Bzaa’ah and Safeerah in the vicinity of al-Baab were targeted, killing six civilians.
Among those killed, the following have been identified:

4- Mustafa al-Kusa (with his mother and two members of his family)
5- Mohammed Ni’mah and his wife
6- Fatima Haddad
7- Aisha Kusa
