The death toll in Syria on Sunday 05/07/2015 reached 77 deaths including, ten children and 11 women.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 16 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on Ain Tarma and Madaya, four in clashes with government forces, one shot by a regime sniper, one due to the siege and another from wounds sustained in mortar shelling in the capital.
An additional 16 civilians died in Homs; nine in the targeting of a camp for nomads in al-Tababeer, six executed at the hands of ISIS in Tadmur (among them three women) and one in clashes with government forces.
In Daraa, 13 civilians were killed, 12 in shelling on Daraa al-Balad and Sida (among them a journalist) and one in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, nine civilians perished in Hama, seven in shelling on the town of al-Hawash and al-Azeema and two slaughtered with knives at the hands of government forces.
A further eight civilians died in Idlib, in shelling on the towns of Hazareen and Kansfara and the villages of al-Rakaya and Mar’een.
The killings of six civilians were documented in Aleppo, four in clashes with government forces and two in shelling (among them an anesthesia technician).
The killings of six civilians were also documented in Deir Azzour; three in clashes with ISIS in rural Daraa, one in bombing of an explosive belt by associates of the regime, one executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of infidelity and a child shot by a regime sniper in the city.
In addition, the killings of three civilians were documented in international alliance shelling; two in Al-Hassaka and one in Ar-Raqqah province.
