The death toll in Syria on Sunday 14/06/2015 reached 56 deaths including 11 children, five women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, ten civilians were killed; five in explosive barrel bombings on the city of Madiya, two under torture in a government prison (identified through leaked photographs), one shot by a regime sniper, one due to the fall of a mortar shell on the capital Damascus and another as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege.
A staggering 30 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 19 in shelling on Qansreen neighbourhood and al-Sukariya field in rural Maskana and the town of Tal Qarah, seven were killed after they were hit by locally made shells on areas under the regime’s control, two in a landmine explosion while trying to cross the Syrian-Turkish border, one in clashes with ISIS and another executed at the hands of ISIS.
Furthermore, four were killed in Daraa, two in the explosion of cluster bombs and two in clashes with government forces.
An additional four civilians were killed in Homs in shelling on the city of Talbisa. A further, three civilians perished in Idlib in clashes with government forces.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour in shelling and two in Hama in clashes with government forces.
