The death toll in Syria on Thursday 28/05/2015 reached 33 deaths including six children and a woman.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, five civilians were killed; one in shelling, one in clashes with government forces, another assassinated in the capital Damascus by unknown assailants and two babies died as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege.
In Idlib, 12 civilians were killed; three in shelling, two in clashes with government forces and seven shot by government forces in the political security branch in the city of Areeha, before their withdrawal.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of ten civilians, two in shelling on one of the mosques in the city of Andan (rural Aleppo) and eight at the hands of ISIS – one of them executed in the city of Manbaj and the other in clashes with ISIS in rural Aleppo.
Furthermore, four were killed in Deir Azzour in bombing of explosive barrels on the town of al-Bu’amr (rural Deir Azzour).
The killings of two civilians were also confirmed in Daraa, after a faction of the opposition kidnapped them a year ago.
