The death toll in Syria on Sunday 31/05/2015 reached 73 deaths including; 14 children, four women and three killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 31 civilians; 15 in shelling on al-A’thamiya (Aleppo) and the cities of al-Baab and Mari’ in the suburbs, six in mortar shelling on areas under the governments control, one in clashes with government forces, six at the hands of ISIS, five slaughtered in the town of Suran and four in clashes with the regime in northern rural Aleppo.
In Deir Azzour, 13 civilians were killed; three in shelling on the village of Hatla in the suburbs, one in clashes with government forces, eight at the hands of ISIS; seven executed under various charges amongst them apostasy, two in mortar shelling on al-Jura neighbourhood and one in clashes with ISIS.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 12 civilians were killed; three in shelling, three shot by a regime sniper, five in clashes with government forces and one due to the siege in eastern Ghouta.
Furthermore, five civilians perished in Al-Hassaka in a massacre carried out by government forces on the town of al-Shadadi on 30/05/15. An additional five civilians were killed in Daraa; one in clashes with government forces, one in shelling and three under torture in government prisons.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Homs; two shot by a regime sniper, one in shelling and one in clashes with government forces.
The killings of two civilians were also documented in Idlib and one in Hama in shelling.
