The death toll in Syria on Monday 25/05/2015 reached 70 deaths including, 13 children and eight women.
In Aleppo, 17 civilians were killed; nine in shelling – the majority in Tal al-Damun (rural Aleppo), three in clashes with government forces and two in mortar shelling on areas under the governments control.
Deir Azzour witnessed the killings of 16 civilians; three in ISIS mortar shelling on al-Jurra, nine executed at the hands of ISIS and four in clashes with government forces.
In Homs, 15 civilians were killed in sporadic airstrikes on the city of Tadmur and al-Sakhna. Among the victims were four women and three children.
Furthermore, seven civilians perished in Damascus and its suburbs; three in clashes with government forces, two in shelling, one shot by a regime sniper and one as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege.
Six civilians perished in Idlib, four in clashes and two in shelling.
A further four were killed in Al-Latakia, as a result of missile shelling launched from a Navy boat in order to settle in one of the buildings.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Daraa; one in shelling, one in mortar shelling in Damascus and another under torture in a government prison.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Hama, as a result of shelling and another in Al-Hassaka, shot by the Kurdish Democratic Union Party.
