The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 12/05/2015 reached 67 deaths including, five children, three women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, eight civilians were killed; three in clashes with government forces, two in shelling, two as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege and one in a landmine explosion.
A staggering 49 civilians were killed in Aleppo, 40 of whom in bombing of explosive barrels on al-Karajat near al-Haj roundabout. 26 bodies were sent to the legitimate medical care in the city, as well as seven bags filled with body parts, from which – 19 bodies were identified. The remaining bodies were unidentifiable due to the burning of their bodies and the impossibility of identifying the remains of their body parts.
In addition, four were killed in shelling (three in the village of Abteen), three in clashes with government forces, one in mortar shelling and one under torture.
Furthermore, five were killed in Idlib in clashes with government forces and two in shelling on Hama.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Daraa, killed under torture in a government prison and one in Al-Latakia, died in clashes with government forces.
