The death toll in Syria on Friday 08/05/2015 reached 23 deaths including, two children and two killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, ten civilians were killed, eight in shelling on the town of Baqras and al-Buleel and two in clashes with government forces.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of five civilians; three in shelling on the town of Kafr Naha, one in clashes with government forces and one shot by Turkish boarder guards while trying to cross the borders.
Furthermore, three civilians were killed in Idlib in bombing of explosive barrels. A further two died in Damascus and its suburbs, one in shelling and a child as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Homs, one in shelling and the other under torture in a government prison (identified through leaked photographs). In addition, the killing of a civilian was documented in Ar-Raqqah under torture in a government prison.
