The death toll in Syria on Thursday 30/04/2015 reached 55 deaths, including 13 children, three women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, six civilians were killed; two in shelling, two in clashes, one of which with ISIS, and two as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta by government forces for more than two years.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 16 civilians; 11 in shelling, eight of whom in the city of Mari’, three in mortar shelling and two in clashes with government forces.
In Idlib, 15 civilians were killed; eight in clashes with government forces, six in shelling on Kansfara and Kafr Aweed (rural Idlib) and one from a gun shot wound.
Furthermore, seven civilians perished in Daraa; three in shelling, one shot by a government sniper, another in clashes with ISIS and two under torture in a government prison.
In addition, six were killed in Homs; four in shelling, one executed and one in a land-mine explosion.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Hama in warplane shelling and two in Ar-Raqqah executed at the hands of ISIS.
