The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 22/04/15 reached 82 deaths including, 11 children, two women and four killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 27 civilians were killed; 16 in shelling on Harasta and Douma (among them five children and two women), eight in clashes with government forces and three in clashes with ISIS.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 34 civilians, 21 in shelling on Deir Hafir (rural Aleppo), where shelling targeted the National Hospital. ISIS also prevented anyone from entering the town except for paramedics. Furthermore, nine civilians were killed- including three children as a result of shelling on the village of Sharee’ in the suburbs. In addition, a civilian was killed in al-Mashad neighbourhood and three in clashes with government forces.
In Idlib, 13 civilians perished; seven in the fall of a mortar shell on their home in Jisr al-Shaghour (among them two children and a woman) and six in clashes with government forces.
The killings of five civilians were documented in Hama, three in clashes with government forces and two under torture in a security branch in Damascus.
