The death toll in Syria on Sunday 19/04/2015 reached 44 deaths including, 12 children, seven women and one killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, six civilians were killed; one in shelling on Ain Tarma, three in clashes with government forces in al-Zabdani and two as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on government forces.
Daraa witnessed the killings of 23 civilians, one in clashes with government forces and 22 in explosive barrel bombings in al-Kark and Da’il (rural Daraa). Among the victims were nine children and eight women.
In Aleppo, five civilians were killed in explosive barrel bombings on al-Sakhour neighbourhood in the city and Kafr Hamra in the suburbs (among them a child).
The killings of four civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, one in Idlib and three executed at the hands of ISIS. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Hama under torture in a government prison.
