The death toll in Syria on Thursday 16/04/2015 reached 35 deaths including, three children, a woman and four killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 12 civilians were killed; seven when government forces targeted vehicles on Khan al-Sheikh Zakia road with tank shells and guided missiles, one in shelling, another in clashes with ISIS and three died from starvation and lack of medicine, due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta by government forces for more than two years.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 15 civilians, nine in clashes with government forces on Bashuki and air force intelligence fronts, three in a bomb explosion on Suran Talaleen road, one in shelling and a woman died in a mine explosion in the village of al-Halawani. Furthermore a journalist died from wounds sustained from the suicide bombing carried out by ISIS in Mari’ a week ago.
In Idlib, three civilians died in clashes with government forces. An additional three civilians were killed in Hama under torture in government prisons and security centres.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Homs, by shrapnel from a mortar shell at one of the fronts and another civilian from Daraa was killed under torture in a government prison.
