The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 15/04/2015 reached 48 deaths including, 14 children, three women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs, 19 civilians were killed; 11 in shelling on Zabdeen in rural Damascus (among them five children) and three shot by a government sniper. Furthermore, two were killed when their car was targeted and one died in clashes with government forces. A civilian was shot by ISIS and another was killed under torture in a government prison.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 16 civilians, 14 in shelling, 10 of which in Taftanaz alone (among them were six children and three women). In addition, a civilian was killed as a result of the blockade imposed by government forces on the village of Kafr Najd and one when his car was targeted with a guided missile.
In Aleppo, eight civilians were killed, six in shelling on al-Askar neighbourhood and the city of Andan in the suburbs. Additionally two were killed in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, three were killed in Daraa, two in clashes with government forces and one in shelling.
The killing of a child was documented in Deir Azzour due to the lack of medicine and a civilian was killed under torture in Homs.
