Ten civilians- including three children and three children- were killed, and dozens left injured, when the Sa’ad al-Ansari school in al-Mashad district, Aleppo, was targeted by missiles during the school day.
The al-Ansari school bombing came as part of a wider campaign targeting most of the city of Aleppo, and which also caused the death of seven civilians from the same family in al-Ma’adi district when a warplane dropped an interstitial missile on two homes during the afternoon.
The bombing campaign has led to the Syrian Interim Government’s department for education announcing a stop to teaching in all schools until the end of the week.
