The death toll in Syria on Monday 13/04/2015 reached 50 deaths including, 12 children, 11 women and one killed under torture.
In Aleppo, 14 civilians were killed, 12 in bombing of explosive barrels on the neighbourhoods of al-Ma’adi, Bustan al-Qasr and al-Shi’ar (among them five children and two women) and two in clashes with ISIS.
Idlib witnessed the killings of ten civilians, nine in bombing of explosive barrels on Idlib, Ma’rrat al-No’maan and Kureen (rural Idlib) and one in clashes with government forces.
In Hama, 11 civilians died in shelling on Kafr Zeita and Um Harteen (rural Hama). Among the victims were four women and two children.
Furthermore, eight civilians perished in Homs, seven in shelling on the town of al-Ghantou and Ar-Rastan (among them three children and two women) and one shot by a regime sniper in the besieged neighbouthood of al-Waer.
The killings of four civilians were documented in the capital Damascus and its suburbs; two in shelling on Yarmouk camp, one in clashes with government forces and another due to a chronic illness and the lack of necessary medication for treatment.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, one drowned while attempting to enter the besieged neighbourhoods under the governments control and the other; a young girl, died from starvation due to the siege imposed on al-Jurra neighbourhood. In addition a civilian was killed in Daraa, under torture in a government prison.
