The death toll in Syria on Saturday 04/04/2014 reached 42 deaths including four children, two women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs ten civilians were killed; four in shelling, three executed at the hands of ISIS in Yarmouk camp, two publically executed at Al-Masheer Abu Ahmed prison and a child died from a stroke from the fear of the sounds of shelling.
Idlib witnessed the killings of nine civilians; six in clashes with government forces, two in shelling and one shot by a regime sniper.
Eight civilians perished in Daraa; five in shelling, one from wounds sustained from a cluster bomb, another in a landmine explosion and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore five civilians were killed in Deir Azzour; a woman in clashes between government forces, three in shelling and one under torture in a government prison.
In Aleppo four were killed; three in clashes with ISIS in Sawran and one shot by a stray bullet.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Homs, shot by government forces. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Al-Hassaka, shot by a regime sniper in al-Zabdani (rural Damascus). Additionally a civilian perished in Hama in clashes with government forces and another in Al-Quneitra under torture in a government prison (identified through leaked photographs).
