The death toll in Syria on Saturday 28/03/2015 reached 54 deaths, including a child, two women and two killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs nine civilians were killed; seven in clashes with government forces, one in shelling and a child died from starvation and malnutrition due to the siege imposed on Mu’adamiyat al-Shaam by government forces.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 28 civilians; one in shelling, 12 in clashes with government forces and 15 (among them a woman) killed by government forces in the military security prison before their withdrawal.
In Daraa seven civilians perished; three in clashes with government forces, one during the dismantling of a mine remnants of government forces, two in shelling and one under torture in a government prison.
Four civilians were killed in Hama and three from Homs in clashes with government forces in Idlib.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour; one from wounds sustained in shelling and the other under torture in a government prison. The killing of a woman was also documented in Aleppo in shelling on Mari’ by ISIS.
