The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 24/03/2015 reached 58 deaths including 13 children, eight women and three killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs seven were killed; five in shelling on Douma, al-Marj and Shab’a, among them were two women and two children, a child died as a result of the lack of medicine and one under torture, identified through leaked photographs.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 22 civilians; 12 in shelling on the city of Saraqib, among them four children and six women and ten killed in clashes with government forces in the city.
In Deir Azzour nine civilians perished; six in shelling among them two children, two in clashes with government forces and one under torture in Sednaya prison.
Furthermore eight civilians were killed in Aleppo; six in shelling on the city of Tal Raf’at and Mari’ (rural Aleppo) including four children, one in clashes with ISIS and one under torture in the Air Force Intelligence branch in Damascus.
Six civilians were killed in Daraa; four in clashes with government forces, a journalist died whilst covering the battles in Busrat al-Shaam and one in shelling.
The killings of five civilians were documented in Hama; four in clashes with government forces in Idlib; one in shelling on the town of Aqrab and one in al-Saydeen near Euphrates river at the hands of the PKK in Ar-Raqqah.
