The death toll in Syria on Saturday 21/03/2015 reached 52 deaths including two children, 21 women, 11 killed under torture, seven identified through leaked photographs and a woman killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs nine civilians were killed; two shot by popular committees in al-Zabdani, three executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of working with the government and apostasy, three killed under torture in government prisons including a woman and a child died as a result of lack of food due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
Daraa witnessed the killings of 13 civilians; eight under torture in government prisons, including five identified through leaked photographs and five in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore 19 women were killed in Al-Hassaka in an explosion that took place on Friday evening during Nowruz celebrations and the final death toll reached 54 deaths.
In Deir Azzour five civilians perished; one in clashes with government forces and four in mortar shelling on al-Jura neighbourhood. An additional three civilians were killed in Homs in clashes with government forces.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Aleppo in artillery shelling targeting Bustan al-Qasr neighbourhood and one in clashes with government forces in Hama.
