The death toll in Syria on Friday 20/03/2015 reached 76 deaths including five children, a woman and 12 killed under torture, identified through leaked photographs. Additionally massacres took place in Al-Hassaka and Idlib and the names of the victims have not yet been reached.
In Damascus and its suburbs ten civilians were killed; four in shelling on Douma and the town of Awtaya in al-Marj (eastern Ghouta), four killed under torture in government prisons, identified through leaked photographs and a child died due to lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on al-Muadamiya.
Daraa witnessed the killings of eight civilians; a child in shelling on Awtaya (rural Damascus) and seven killed under torture, identified through leaked photographs.
Six civilians perished in Aleppo; five in surface-surface missiles on Lamashad neighbourhood and one under torture in government prisons, identified through leaked photographs.
A civilian was killed in Hama in clashes with government forces, 16 in Idlib, one in clashes with government forces and 15 in shelling targeting a mosque in the village of Mantaf on the outskirts of Ariha (rural Idlib).
Furthermore 35 civilians perished in Al-Hassaka as a result of explosions that took place while the Kurds were celebrating Nowruz.
