The death toll in Syria on Monday 09/03/2015 reached 57 deaths including seven children, six women and 23 killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 19 were killed; one shot by a regime sniper, another in shelling, one died from starvation due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta for two years and 16 civilians were killed under torture in government prisons, identified from previously leaked photographs by al-Qisar.
In Daraa ten were killed; four in shelling, among them three children and a woman and six under torture, five identified from leaked photos.
The killings of 12 civilians were documented in Aleppo; six in shelling and missiles, one shot by a regime sniper and five in clashes with government forces.
Eight civilians perished in Homs; seven in shelling on Talbisa, among them a woman and two children and one under torture in government prisons.
Furthermore four were killed in Hama; three in shelling and one in clashes with government forces.

The killing of another civilian was also documented in Deir Azzour in shelling.
