The death toll in Syria on Saturday 07/03/2015 reached 61 deaths including ten children, five women and 11 killed under torture.
A staggering 22 civilians were killed in Damascus and its suburbs; seven in shelling, six in clashes with government forces, one as a result of lack of medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta, two civilians in clashes between two armed factions of the opposition and six killed under torture, identified through leaked pictures of the victims in branch 215.
In Homs nine civilians perished; five in shelling on the city of Talbisa, among them was a child and a woman, two in clashes with government forces and two under torture; one identified through leaked pictures of the victims in branch 215.
Furthermore eight civilians were killed in Idlib; four were found in a mass grave, burnt by government forces when they were stationed in Haboush barrier near Wadi al-Da’if camp, two died in shelling and one in clashes with government forces.
An additional eight civilians were killed in Deir Azzour in shelling on al-Maraab near the sheep market in the city of al-Mayadeen and five were killed in Aleppo; three in clashes with government forces, one in shelling and one executed at the hands of ISIS.
The killings of five children were documented in Ar-Raqqah as a result of a landline explosion planted by ISIS at the vicinity of al-Mustawa village in Ain Isa district. The killings of four civilians were also documented in Daraa; two in shelling and two under torture in branch 215, identified through leaked images. Moreover a civilian was killed in Hama under torture in a government prison.
