The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 04/03/2015 reached 40 deaths including two children, seven women and six killed under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 11 civilians were killed; nine in shelling on the town of Deir Al-Asafeer (rural Damascus), one in clashes with government forces and another as a result of lack of medicine due to the siege imposed by government forces on eastern Ghouta.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 18 civilians; nine as a result of mortar shelling on Salah Al-Din neighbourhood, seven died after government troops infiltrated into one of the fronts in southern rural Aleppo, one when a motorcycle exploded in the city of Mari’ and another was killed under torture in a government prison.
In Homs five perished; three nomadic women died after warplanes bombed their location in the vicinity of al-Halba south-east of Tadmur and two were killed under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore three were killed in Idlib; two in clashes with government forces and a child due to remnants of a cluster bomb from warplane shelling.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Hama and one in Daraa under torture in government security centers.
