The death toll on Tuesday 27/1/2015 reached 40 deaths including five children, six women and six under torture.
In the capital Damascus and its suburbs 13 were killed; six in warplane shelling on Douma and Harasta, two as a result of mortar shells on Damascus, two in clashes with government forces, one under torture in government prisons and a child died due to the siege imposed by government forces on eastern Ghouta.
Daraa witnessed the killings of eight civilians; four in clashes with government forces and four children in shelling.
In Idlib six were killed in shelling on Kansfara and al-Tamani’a (rural Idlib).
Furthermore four civilians perished in Aleppo; three in mortar shells on al-Khalidiya and one shot by a regime sniper.
In Hama three were killed; two in clashes with government forces and one under torture in government prisons.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Homs and one in Deir Azzour under torture in government prisons. Two were also killed in Al-Hassaka one under torture in government prisons and the other executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of insulting the Divine God, despite denials by the young man of the claims during the execution.
In addition a civilian was executed at his home in Al-Latakia.
